This is the "Lai Haraoba" dance of Manipur which obeys strict moral codes. It is associated with the "Lai Haraoba" festival. "Lai Haraoba" is a festival that revolve around the Goddess of Forest or perhaps nature. It is observed for about 9- 15 days, and even 30 days. Sacred musical instruments like "Pena" are used here. At dusk, young maidens with colourful attire and traditinal dress dance. It is quite a beautiful sight.
